CBC Junior High and High School Students embark on a weekend adventure right here in our “own backyard,” so to speak. This annual event is a time of study, reflection and discussion as students meet in local host homes for Bible study and discipleship. The weekend kicks off Friday evening, February 5, at 6:00 PM with a dinner and Worship Rally right here at our CBC campus, led by the Baptist Student Mission’s Worship Band. This year’s theme is “Becoming.” We covet your prayers for every aspect of this weekend. All over the area, in residential host homes, group leaders will dare to move students to search for truth in the face of very real questions. One important question every serious student of Scripture should challenge themselves to ask is, “What am I becoming?”
Recreation and games will be an important part of the weekend. We intend to study truth, fellowship sweetly and play hard!
The cost per student is $35. Includes meals, study materials and a t-shirt. |
