Children’s Minister

Sarah Trumbull is a San Marcos native and has grown up at Calvary Baptist Church for most of her life. She has a passion for her family, music, serving in our praise band and choir at CBC, photography, and working with our Kids Praise program. (And also her adopted “boy,” a rescue pup named Elvis and his new baby sister, a red heeler named Presley.) Sarah comes to us with a background in retail services, supervisory and management, and team management in a very popular, faith-based, local service industry. She has been working with our children at Calvary since 2019 and has grown in her skills and knowledge of child development along with gaining a more formal training through Children’s Ministries Institute. Our Early Childhood hallway from Nursery through Pre-school has been a particular focus for Sarah for a couple of years now. Some of her favorite events have been Vacation Bible School and our newly introduced Upward Basketball Camp that we ran this past summer.  One of her favorite quotes is from Charles H. Spurgeon’s Feed My Lambs sermon. “The best of the church are none too good for this work…stand ready to help the little ones and to cheer those who chief calling is to attend to them.”
